PRAYER - A SILENT MEDITATION :
                   We begin our day with a two minute prayer early in the morning. It allows students to be with themselves and forget the hassles of life and start their day with focus and concentration.

Cultural Activities:
                   The cultural activities help the students to show case their talents in performing arts and promotes activities which require them to plan, execute, perform, present and project their hidden talents along with academics. The aim is to celebrate youth and its vitality and thereby contribute towards their personality development.

Magazine Committee :
                   To give vent to the creative skills and to develop in the students a flair for writing the magazine committee of the college publishes its annual magazine and encourages the students to contribute articles, poems, short stories and explore themes of their interest. The college publishes it's magazine ‘ASTIKYA’ with the articles from staff and students.

Sports & Gymkhana Committee :
                   The Sports & Gymkhana Committee of the college is a platform for the budding sports persons and gives vent to their talent and grooms them for national and international sports events. It encourages the students to participate in various indoor and outdoor games and thereby promotes overall personality development.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME- NSS :
                   National Service Scheme is a movement which aims at the physical, mental and spiritual development of young students. It cultivates a sense of duty, co-operation, and self help in the students. NSS helps in moulding the youth of tomorrow in such a way that they become active participants in nation-building efforts at different levels. NSS in the college is playing an active role in developing the personality of students through community service. Its motto is “Not me, but you”. This expresses the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service and appreciation for others point of view. It instills a sense of consideration for fellow human beings and the welfare of society as a whole.

Literary and Debating Activities :
                   The Literary and Debating Committee helps to develop the communication skills and the literary inclinations of the students and aims to cultivate in the students a sense of self confidence and strives to promote in them a desire to read, discuss, present and talk on the issues which concern them and the society at large. Students take interest in the creative works. Wallpaper named ‘Sahitya Darshan’ is published by this committee.


Nature and Environment club :
                   The Nature club of the college is a club which gives wings to the adventurous spirit of the youth and organizes various trekking camps, nature trails, visits to sanctuaries, waterfalls and areas of interest and explores the hidden mysteries of nature. It is a club meant for recreation, adventure and fun. Guest lecturers are organized for the awareness of essay competition.

STUDY TOURS, PICNICS, INDUSTRIAL VISITS :
                   Study tours, picnics and industrial visits are arranged for the students once every year. Picnics are arranged as part of students’ council activities. Study tours are arranged by students. The English Medium students in the management faculty are taken out for industrial visit to industries in Vapi, Halol, Anand, Vadodara etc. Students are advised to be in uniform and to submit a feedback after the visit.

PLANNING FORUM :
                   The planning forum in the college holds the lectures and discussions on current economic and social developments. The presence of staff and students in such meetings adds its value. Lectures on co-operation for a full week are held every year and the participants are awarded certificates and are taken out on a study tour. Students take interest in the cotemptorry economic problem. Wallpaper named “ ARTH DARSHAN ” is published by the planning forum committee.

LIBRARY :
                   The college has a good library with a good collection of books for students and staff. A register is being maintained to record the visits made by staff and students. Book exhibition in the reading room of the college library for the student and staff was organized every year.

CAREER GUIDANCE & PLACEMENT :
                   The career guidance cum placement cell in the college conducts lectures by various consultants and experts and students especially final year students are advised to attend such lectures. Employment opportunities are displayed on the notice board and students make use of them. Feedback is obtained from the students after every lecture or workshop in order to know their opinions and suggestions for further improvement. A special feature of career guidance cum placement cell is that it trains students to appear for interviews.

CO -CURRICULAR AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :
                   Though the college is situated a few kilometers from the city there is a great demand for the college because of its special qualities. Strict in discipline, the college aims at overall development of students. Co-curricular and extra curricular activities are in full swing throughout the year. Talented students are inspired and trained for participating in competitions held in the college and outside. The cultural committee of the college selects and sends students to other institutions for elocution, recitation, completion of poems, one act play, mono acting, classical music etc. Various days are celebrated in the college to encourage the tastes of students under the guidance of the cultural committee.The college team has participated and won prizes in state level competitions. The Gymkhana committee is ever enthusiastic and interclass competitions are organized in Cricket, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Chess, Yoga and Table Tennis. The best players are selected and sent for inter collegiate, inter varsity, and state level competitions. The winners in the competition are felicitated by displaying their names on the notice board and by announcing their victory in each and every class. Moreover, they are awarded certificates and mementos and also prizes at the annual prize distribution of the college.

BLOOD DONATION & THALASSEMIA TEST :
                   The National Service Scheme unit of the college is a very active body that imparts training to students in social service. Blood donation camps are organized a year and coffee, biscuits and gifts are given to donors encouraging their humanitarian deed. Blood cards are kept with the program officers and the principal and are given to the needy whenever they approach. Medical camps are arranged in the college in collaboration with Kadodara Medical Circle for the people around the place and medicine, spectacles etc. are distributed free of cost. Red Ribbion club of college students are take interest towards AIDS. AIDS awareness is enhanced among students by organizing lectures by renowned experts, conducting seminars and poster exhibition. Students are made aware of Filaria and Thalassemia and compulsory Thalassemia test is conducted for the first year students every year as a part of NSS activities. NSS also undertakes activities like cleaning up public gardens and painting road dividers.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT :
                   Education empowers and girl education is a step towards the upliftment of society. We believe in this and therefore encourage girls to take admission in this college. The result is that 48% of the total strength of students are girls.

TEACHER’S FORUM :
                   Our staff members are very sincere regarding the research oriented work and to fulfill their latest knowledge pertaining to subject which they teach in the class as well as general problems. Every fortnight one staff member is given lecturer on particular topic and is discussed the matter. Other staff members take interest and participate in the group discussion in this way. Such type of activity promotes other teacher’s and prove helpful to enhance their knowledge for future career.

TEACHER'S DIARY :
                   Every staff member maintains a diary which contains every detail of the work done during the year. The diary includes termly and monthly teaching plan, time table, daily work, conferences etc., list of bright students, placement profile, consultancy profile, social activities, internal and external assessment details, project / tour profile, membership in committees, publications profile, academic results, scholar students’ profile and general remarks by the lecturer.

TEACHING AIDS :
                   The Over Head Projector of the college was used in many lectures until the LCD projector replaced the OHP. A trolley is kept on each floor so that the LCD projector can be carried from one room to another. Guest lectures are also assisted with the LCD projector that can be carried from one room to another.

IN - HOUSE RESEARCH :
                   Assignments are a compulsory part of the internal assessment of students. In subjects like economics, banking and business administration project works are assigned to students who collect data directly from organizations and prepare project reports. Such reports including data and relevant photographs are made in spiral binding and are maintained by the lecturers concerned.

FELICITATION OF TOP TEN STUDENTS :
                   Meritorious students who have excelled academically are felicitated in their respective classes in the beginning of the year by the college principal. It is a motivation for the students. Even after the second internal exams the same is done to boost the confidence of the students and their parents are sent a congratulation letter.

Sexual Harassment and Grievance Redressal Cell :
                   The college creates an awareness regarding the legal rights of women and also tries to redress any complaints lodged regarding any kind of physical or mental abuse. The Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted to redress the grievances of the students related to facilities, interpersonal problems and academic problems.

Anti- Ragging Committee :
                   The Anti –Ragging Committee was formed in accordance with the instructions received from the UGC and its sole motive is to curb the menace of Ragging in the campus and formulate strict measures against those found guilty.

NURTURING PATRIOTISM :
                   Republic day and Independence day are celebrated in the college and students are encouraged to attend the flag hoisting on these days. A guest is invited from outside for flag hoisting. Flag hoisting is not always done by big shots.

Shrimad Rajchandra Sambodhini Center and sanskriti sambodhi kendra :
                   With the inspiration of Aasta village great donator Bhulabhai Vanmalibhai Patel, ‘Shrimad Rajchandra Sambodhi Center’ was established in the college in year 2006. Various activities are undertaken by the center in order to acquaint students with the thoughts of Shrimad Rajchandra and to fulfill the responsibility of good citizen through spiritual knowledge. Various lectures are conducted to provide right inspiration for the progress and encouragement to the students through spiritual education along with class education.

SUGGESTION BOX :
                   A suggestion box is kept outside the principals’ chamber. Students are advised to drop their suggestions, complaints, etc. into the box with or without their names. Relevant suggestions are implemented and attention is paid to the complaints.
