Dakshin Gujarat Shikshan Samaj, Kumbharia was founded with strong desire and iron
will at Kumbharia before 47 years in order to serve society and provide the best
education programme to students. Since its inception over four and half decades
ago, it has spread the light of education in the region (Choryasi, Kamrej and Palsana
Taluka of Surat District) providing education ranging from Pre-Primary to higher
Secondary and College level. The trust has established a well equipped and modern
infrastructured new college building which provides good accommodations and facilities
to the students which cost approximately Rs.1.8 Crores. The trust’s mission is that
of liberal education of an individual’s personal quest for knowledge and self-mastery
and desire to play an integral part in the development of community. Trust is also
making efforts to increase funds from local people and NRIs. In coming future, the
trust is well equipped to meet the needs of 21st century and to maintain our pace
with global changes.The members of the trust believe that education should open
the mind and prepare students to appreciate the beauty of ideas as well the world
around them. Education must help students to understand both, other people and themselves
and to be effective citizens in an interdependent world. The trust is also committed
to provide the best educational environment and excellent infrastructure in the
educational complex of Sabargam.
